Cory Shoultz, a dedicated Roofer!
Cory’s family moved around often, so he grew up in Alabama, Florida, Arkansas and Texas. He attended the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa and played in the marching band. His first job after graduation was in quality assurance for a shingle manufacturing plant. He then joined and served honorably in the US Navy. After the Navy, he held positions in a variety of industries, mostly related to construction. He helped start two roofing companies in the Birmingham area before moving to the Gulf Coast to help extended family after hurricane Sally. He started Big Fish Roofs & Restoration and loves being a roofer because it’s an opportunity to help his neighbors.
Cory lives with his family in Loxley, AL and is involved with the Church of the Highlands disaster response team. After going through an F-5 tornado in 1998, he has a strong commitment to helping people recovering from natural disasters.
Angela Day, Operations Manager, Coatings Specialist and Trainer
Angela comes to us with over 10 years of experience as an Operations Manager. She handles a significant portion of the administrative functions of Big Fish Roofs.
Soon after coming on board, Angela had a camper that she was renovating to sell. She noticed water in the camper and called Cory immediately, asking him to look at the roof. A tree branch had fallen on the camper and cracked a skylight. Cory taught her how to use roof coating products to make the repair. That began her journey into the world of coatings. She completed manufactures training with American Weather Star and Gaco coatings projects. Angela is now our commercial and residential coatings repair specialist and trains other team members on coating repairs.
Angela was born in Mobile and currently lives on the Eastern Shore. She has family from Irvington Alabama to Pensacola Florida.
